Quitting is nothing new for Brooklyn fighters. They do it all the time.

You bloodthirsty savages that actually think people like Alvarado and Stevens are quitters when they got blatently beat down into submission need to be shot.

Clearly you are a cancer on human society anyway.

This was not like Ortiz vs Maidana where the going got a little rough (very different to Ortiz vs Lopez btw)
If these people would have endedup with permanent damage you would not give 2 shits about them afterwards.

I have more respect for Stevens after this fight.

He is a good fighter and has courage. He is no joke.

The problem was he was against someone exceptional.

Stevens showed guts and courage to go as far as he did against an elite fighter like golovkin and to be honest twats on here posting rubbish about him being a quitter . Only goes to show how this forum has fallen in its level of boxing knowledge

Stevens's corner was right with the stoppage.
Curtis didn't quit - he lost awareness by the end of 8 frame after those bombs. It's Golovkin who opened the door and kicked Showtime out of the room.
You can't blame him when his body was breaking down - it's just silly.
He showed heart and did his best - better than most GGG opponents. Curtis earned my respect although I wanted him to get KTFO initially.

Mago went out on his shield didn't he? Look where its got him, in hospital under intensive care in an induced coma.
Its obvious you clowns that claim Stevens has no heart have never been inside a boxing ring in your lives. Stevens took a shellacking from GGG & gave a good account of himself back . He took as much as is humanly possible GGG was just too strong.. There is nothing wrong with Stevens heart. Steven s, GG, Mago & Perez all FOUGHT like true warriors.
The difference being Stevens corner was on the ball & pulled him out when he was obviously being beaten bad, They cared for their fighter.
I have no idea what Mago's corner was doing you only had to look at his face to see something was seriously wrong yet they kept pushing him out. The referee was very lax too he needs a talking to.
My prayers are for Mago to make a complete recovery Get well soon Warrior

When was the last time you were in the ring?? You probably never been near a ring. Easy to be a keyboard warrior & diss guys that put their lives literally on the line every time they enter the ring.:patsch

All Stevens had in this fight was a puncher's chance. I give GGG credit for fighting a puncher. With that said GGG beating a limited guy like Stevens proves GGG can take a good shot.

So you expect the man to die in the Ring ? The man has a son, nothing in the ring is worth that.

Stylez, when has a fighter thrown in a towel?
To the guy commenting on GGG's "broken English", I bet Shitalker Stevens understood EVERY fkn word he said. GGG's English is a lot better than Broner's Ghetto-ass ****.
Blizzy, it's 'personally', bro, NOT "personal", just sayin'.

Stevens was scared the whole lead up to the fight, the coffin stunt and constantly repeating I'm not scared was him trying to combat that.
