Easy to write that. Behind your computer, wiht beers and chips. Respect to the fighters, some dies in there. The guy freakin got a kd and came back and gave a good fight.

His corner stopped the fight. He doesn't need to get his head taken off just so some guys on the internet dont question his heart. A fighter got killed recently. That's a sacrifice that no one needs to make.

He didn't, but what can he realistically do when his trainer tells the ref to stop?

Please **** off with this. For me it was a good stoppage and he was only looking to survive in the last round, no need for him to take an unnecessary beating.

Eh, he was beaten mentally and physically. Hardly a rare occurrence in boxing.

The question with not coming out of your corner is will you ever be the same.

If he really was as brave and heroic as you're making him out to be he'd have signalled to his corner that he was ready for the last few rounds.

His body language was to indicate that he wanted out, as he walked back so his corner could quit for him

Stevens showed a lot of heart to come back after nearly being KOed in round 2.

He's definitely not a quitter. He fought courageously while taking a lot of punishment.

OK, but he wasn't the one who told them to quit the fight was he? He was looking down, waiting for his stool since he was already at his corner.

    Just stop, dumb ass.

He didnt have to get up in the second rd. He coulda pulled a Macklin and laid there.....but that tough SOB got up, recovered, and went on to have pretty successful rd 4-6.:deal

The only thing I said was that the guy isn't a quitter and showed heart. He was completely outgunned though. He was getting badly beaten and couldn't hurt Golovkin. Lots of people have a look of resignation when they are in a competition and have no answers. Go watch the Gatti/Mayweather fight. Did you see Gatti protest that stoppage? Are you going to tell me that Gatti was quitter who lacked heart?
