This. Stevens was super obnoxious in the build up, but he paid for it in the fight. He ALSO backed his words up in the ring with a gallant effort against a simply better opponent. You have to respect that.

Given how woefully average Curtis Stevens is it's difficult to work out why so many people can't see tht Brook has a real chance.

GGG simply hasn't fought anyone. Geale lost to a headbutt, Murray lost cos he was gassed and dropped his hands( and was still on his feet when it was called off), Lemieux suffered and illegal punch etc etc.

When BRook lands the chocolate brownies it'll be night night for the Kazakhstani fraud.

Anyone care to explain what Brook landing chocolate brownies means cause I've read this a few times and for the life of me can't think what it means?

I understand why folk bring up Golovkins resume and they would be right in mentioning that as its inescapable but on the other hand looking at the manner of his twenty odd stoppages in a row it's hard to imagine anyone being able to handle his power,I've no doubt Brook is quality but why should he be able to take Golovkins punches when so many couldn't.

Not sure what fight the poster was watching as all I saw was Stevens take a beating,at no point did I see GGG hurt?

Brook moves better than all Golovkins opponents and punches harder.

    GGG will be found out.

I agree, GG seemed to have a huge problem picking between carrying him for 12 or finishing him when he wanted to, good thing the ref picked for him

Rosado gave GGG the best fight sofar... But according to reports GGG had like "Full blown AIDS w/a side of Cancer" in that fight so we can't talk about how Gabe was catching him flush.

When GGG does not respect his opponent and he feels he cannot hurt him, it will be a brawl where you can catch him. If he respect your power, he will box and punish his opponent until the end. This is what he did against Lemieux.

That fight was incredibly one-sided. Golovkin won easily.

Golovkin forced the stoppage over him and dominated, dirrel did not even dare to force the stoppage he was happy running all night.

Actually Rosado did do pretty well. I like Gabriel, he is a fierce fighter that has a great will to win :good

Curtis may be shorter but he is built like a tank. Think Tua or Tyson, short buy incredibly powerful and right where they need to be weight wise.

Brook is a bum. Triple G will stomp him like nothing.
