That's another one I'd like to see. I think Canelo should really take that as his first fight at 160. Assuming he wants to go on to fight Golovkin Stevens is a good test to deal with the power, you have a common opponent which would add even more hype to the fight, and I think it is winnable for Canelo while still being a good fight.

If no chavez or BJS, I think Lemieux or Stevens would be a perfect fight for Canelo in his 160 pound debut. And another thing, I've said they needed to start fighting common opponents Since last year! Lol... It would have been nice to see Canelo fight Lemay or stevens, and GGG fight Lara on the same card to build up their potential superfight when it happens, you know.

That would be nice. I don't think we're ever going to get a Lara vs Golovkin fight, but I'm okay with that. There isn't much incentive for Lara to take that fight as long as he is getting paid a million (I think it was a million...) to fight guys like Yuri Foreman. Sure, he'd make more fighting Golovkin but the risk is much greater than the reward if you're just after money.

Curtis has serious pop his only issue in my opinion is the way he sets up his power shots....he'd have more success career wise if he stalked less and boxed more with varying power behind his punch sets. Touch, touch, sting, touch, power punch.

I think Boone is just one of those boxers who was either badly managed, or didn't get the breaks at the right time and kinda got pigeon-holed as a gatekeeper and as a result got gatekeeper match-ups. He clearly has power and wasn't intimidated mixing it with the big boys. Maybe, he lacked dedication to really build his career, but if you look as his record, he could have been so much more....

If Canelo fights Kanat Islam next this board will lose its mind. I don't see Canelo fighting a threat tho he's got to much leverage when it comes to money so he doesn't need to anymore. I guess he feels with Trout and Lara that he's paid his dues although the Cotto win was big.

Isn't he Billy Joe bull****'s mando now? You'd think he'd force that fight through to establish himself as a champion given that belts seem to mean so much to him.

I'm hoping he pursues BJS next if the Chavez fight fall through, because I'd be highly disappointed if he fights this Islam guy..
