Curtis can talk some good smack when he wants, wack fighter though. Reminds me of Allan Green on that front.
atsch Sturm is after GGG the best middleweight today. He schooled De La Hoya ins his prime .. ok the last years were quite bad for him but he's back stronger than he ever ws before. He sent Barker to retirement, destroyed him literally. Yeah, he's ducking GGG .. but who's not?? Ward decided to rather be a commentator on HBO instead of facing GGG. :rofl
Funny interview, and while dude is clearly drunk, he makes some good points. And I too would pick him over guys like Geale, Macklin, and Soliman.
Exactly, Delahoya for that fight was a fat out of shape blown up Welterweight and he still beat Sturm
Bull****. GGG - "I'll fight anyone from 54-68" Ward - "fight me" GGG - "no I'm going to clean out 160 first" Proceeds to negotiate a fight with Chavez jr at 168
The irony being that Team GGG was just being respectful to Ward there, because Ward isnt fighting anybody. Fighters in Federal lawsuits with their promoters dont get network dates. Period. Promoters being sued by their fighters dont risk or pay 7 figure sums to said fighters unless they feel it is legally needed. Period. Seriously folks. When Ward gets his crap settled, and sends a 7 figure offer similar to Chavez/TR offer for a fight... at that point if Team GGG declines then yes, its a duck.
SOB Ward ran from Stevenson. Stevenson called Ward out live on HBO, but Ward refused to even answer him. Stevenson said he would fight Ward at 168, but Ward still refused. Ward also refused to fight Kovalov. Ward refused a fight with Chavez, asked way too much money. It will be a very long time before Ward gets to fight again...............Ward said he might not ever fight again......................just read that...........
