curtis stevens is the best middleweight in the world! He's using his boxing ability more to pick his shots and cause epic damage to his opponents. no one does it better than him! i know everyone thinks golovkin is the best middleweight but if these two fought golovkin would suffer an awful assbeating by curt. No doubt whatsoever.
Vanes has very sturdy whiskers; Saul decked him. Primera and Brinkley hurt Stevens; Mouton stunned him. Just saying.
Nor much better than in his previous one. Of course, the fact that Ayala had already been destroyed via KO1 by the likes of Lemieux sort of takes some of the luster off that result...but still. Curtis is a bit of a mixed bag. If he comes in juggernaut mode he should annihilate Roman. If he is the clueless punching bag on wheels that spent all night rolling after Dirrell, Brinkley and Findley - it may not be so cut & dry.
You know more about Curtis Stevens' career than his own family. On a side note; I believe Golovkin's team may offer him a quick turn around fight if he looks good tomorrow. Golovkin still has time to fit in a bout before his November HBO date.
Why all the hate for Stevens.? It's like he swindled you guys in a Ponzi scheme or something. Maybe...just Maybe 168 was too much for his 5'8 frame...What kind of boxing fans are you guys.:huh:huh He's younger than GGG and can throw KO punches with speed. Stevens is a dangerous fight for anybody at 160. Imagine what he would do to a 154lb fighter like Ouma and Ishida.
Where do you see hate anywhere in here? :huh Rightly critical statements (remarking that his last performance was poor) and healthy skepticism (regarding him ripping Golovkin apart like he and some of his fans believe) is all you'll find - not hate.
