Was curious to see what this guy was up to after he lost to brinkley. after scanning the espn boxing page and looking a the schedule i saw this: This content is protected This content is protected Delvin Rodriguez vs. Ashley Theophane, 10 rounds, welterweights; Donovan George vs. This content is protected , 10 rounds, super middleweights This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected vs. Corey Cummings, 10 rounds, super middleweights; Mauricio Martinez vs. Mauricio Pastrana, 10 rounds, featherweights; Ronson Frank vs. Ariel Espinal, 8 rounds, light heavyweights; Will Rosinsky vs. Miguel Hernandez, 8 rounds, light heavyweights; Gary Stark Jr. vs. Pedro Rincon Miranda, 6 rounds, junior featherweights; Just how common is this? gonna be intersting to see how he fairs in the second fight after going up against someone like Donovan George who is undefeated and has power. cummings isnt a slouch either. he has been in there iwth chris henry and montell griffin in the past two years.
Some people used to fight multiple times in a month. How else could these old fighters have 100-170 fights.
this is true but it isnt seen much these days. especially not for someone who is pretty established like stevens. perhaps it smore common for a newcomer or a talented young guy.
Curtis Stevens is a *****. He obviously had no intention of ever fighting BOTH George and Cummings. His camp probably isn't going as well as expected, so rather than take the more dangerous but higher-profile opportunity against George on ESPN2, they had a little safety net set up for him to headline a non-televised card at home against a soft touch in Cummings. *****!!!
haha damn from two pretty good fights to zero in a day. he should have taken the georgefight and properly prepared for it. could have b een his last shot career wiseto make it big
