What the **** are you on about now? I'm not even talking about anything to do with the fight here? I said "at least he let Woodhouse know early, what would you expect him to do, pull out of the fight". That lad replied yes he should have pulled out of the fight. He wouldn't have got respect for that either would he? And if Woodhouse agrees to fight at that weit then why should Frank have pulled out?

Tell me if he'd have pulled out you wouldn't have been calling him a **** for letting Woodhouse and the fans down? I'm not defending the lad here but seriously, if he was struggling to lose the last bit of weight and he continues at Welter in the future....... What would you seriously rather he do? Offer Curtis a little bit of extra money and fight on or pull out of the fight and leave Woodhouse without a payday and listen to the fans talk on again about another ****** card not living up to it's promise?

What Patch said; this fight is pointless now.

The financial compensation and amount of time Curtis has to pull out is irrelevant. The fight was agreed on a weight, everything to this point, all of Curtis' training has been with that weight in mind. This moves the goalposts dramatically. Of course Woodhouse still wants the fight, he's a sportsman, this is in his head now and he's going to carry through with it regardless but for Frankie to do this is poor, very, very poor.

 

nice to see melodrama isnt only for Coronation Street.
