Blocking someone solves nothing, it's ignoring a problem rather than fixing it at the root. What if he got blocked and then went to bully someone who couldn't defend themselves?

I doubt Woodhouse was seriously going to go round and beat the guy up, he went to sort the problem, the guy realised what a dick he'd been and apologised.

What's wrong with that? He's not a vigilante, seems perfectly reasonable to me. A boxer being in the news for using their brain and acting with a degree of decency is a refreshing change from the stories of mental breakdowns, assaults, drug use and crashing cars into pedestrians we're used to.

See where I come from, if you go around acting like a big mouth, in real life or online, there are consequences, and saying "You can't touch me, it's assault" is not going to help you.

I ran into a few people who used to talk **** online to me back in the day on msn (not individual cases, this was quite a large group in on it together), and most of them absolutely cream their trunks once they are confronted in person, but you do get the odd one who still tries to be smart and snarky, and that deer in the headlights look they get once they get a crack in the jaw is priceless, one of them even started crying.

I know exactly how Curtis was feeling, there is no more frustrating feeling than a bigmouth talking personal **** behind a screen, its basically online bullying

The internet is a much less anonymous place than it was ten years ago. People have got to learn then they will be held accountable for their comments. The days of the keyboard warrior are coming to an end.

Radio 2 were giving him a right hard time. Some old bird was giving it all "why didn't you call the police yada yada yada" after he explained it wasn't only the abuse on friday, he'd been getting threats of violence and vicious abuse aimed at his wife etc

It could be argued that Curtis could have just ignored him, it would have been a lot easier. However, he obviously didn't mind putting in the effort to track him down and drive to where he lives, and it seems the effort wasn't in vain.

You have to remember that Curtis was at one the lowest points in his whole life after the Singleton fight, so it's no surprise to me that he finally snapped and said to himself "right let's see how brave this ***** is in person"

He'd finally reached his limit, but I highly doubt he would have hit the guy

all the other stuff you can sort of pass over saying he's just an immature idiot, but somebody saying that to anybody is beyond disgusting

What if the bloke had informed the police and they'd been waiting for Curtis? Given that he'd driven all that way and offered money to track him down, Curtis could hardly claim it as a spur of the moment decision. The troll is an utter twat and needed teaching a lesson but Curtis could have ended up in court over it and boxing would have had more bad publicity.

dunno if someone has already suggested this, but seems like a big set-up to me, a bit of free publicity/money. Why else would this guy go on the show to grovel and apologise.

Hopefully because his family have told him it was that or be disowned as a twat
