Thought you handled yourself extremely well Curtis, fair play mate.

I also heard you on radio 2 yesterday & you did well, that woman was beyond patronising but you made your point & left her sounding silly.

Hope you get the rematch you deserve

This seems to have got totally out of hand. It is funny though,I bet the lad proper **** his pants when it started to dawn on him that Woodhouse really was near his house. Curtis Woodhouse is now a household name for something he did on the spur of the moment on the internet. That confronting a tool made him more famous than his boxing career is a bit sad in a way and shows how much the internet has taken over everything. Good fighter with a good story behind him but this gets him attention. I hope it all adds up to getting him and his next opponent a ****ing good payday off the back of it.

  6. No offence meant here Curtis, but why didn't you just block the guy when he first tweeted you?

Nothing wrong with turning up to give him a scare by the way, fair play on that. I just don't understand why you'd put up with abuse for that long when you're a click away from never seeing it.

Maybe he's not the type to run away from his problems?

Never realised this guy had abused you form months, I thought you meant trolls in general had done that. Good for you mate, although I personally wouldn't have done the same you weren't out of order if he was threatening your family.

You did something that a lot of others (especially public figures) would loved to have done, that is why so many related to it. Totally justified and you didnt threaten him or assault him, it was the thought of a professional boxer confronting him face-to-face that was enough to humiliate him. :good

this is a boxing forum and some of us are boxing fans, im genuinely interested in someone like curtis opinion. not because im 'sucking him off', but because hes operating at the top end of the sport i follow. your opinion, however i couldnt give a **** about. following boxings a hobby for me, its a way of passing the time. its not life or death.

that allows me to be pretty rational about this subject. i think pros coming on here and giving us there two cents is nothing but a good thing. no downsides. because of that im pretty respectful because i appreciate their effort.

by the same token i think that random people who give them abuse are clearly attention seeking twats that are not clever enough to realise when they have something good.

the more pros that post here the better. you can say what you think without being a **** and making this forum worse for the rest of us. the one downside about being a boxing fan online is i have to mix with some people that are clearly the type of dickheads you would have nothing to do with normally.

This was a major factor imo too, Woodhouse is quite a reactionary guy and that was a silly time to be a dick to him, especially when you're actually not that far away!

heres a straight forward honest question. do you ever regret leaving football to box? do you think you could ever rejoin football at a high standard.

as for the guy, hes clearly a dickhead, but you have to respect manning up like that. hes never going to live the whole episode down, but that part might limit the damage a bit.
