Woodhouse has swapped Dave Coldwell (who will still be his manager) for Glyn Rhodes: http://britishboxingnews.com/woodhouse-switches-trainer/ Wise move after the improvements he had shown recently?
No I think it's wood house is wrong to move as shown in the fighters the two handle coldwell has many more better fighters he trains than Glyn rhodes currently
if this is in reaction to his loss to mcdonagh i think its a jerk reaction but i think Coldwell has done very well for him maybe not the best move overall
hi guys just to clear a few things up me and dave split on very good terms and are still good friends and over the last 3 years have worked very well together and he has taught me loads and improved me a hell of a lot and is a top trainer i just felt i needed to get out and learn a few new tricks i felt as a inside fighter i was too one dimensional and needed to learn how to fight inside better the idea was to go to manchester because that seems to be where the best trainers are that teach that style but i went via glynn rhodes in sheffield had a chat told him what i was looking for and we have been working on some inside stuff and i feel like ive learned alot already stepping round my opponent instead of just standing infront of them also been working on cutting the ring off i know it sounds basic stuff but its little things like these that can make a big difference to a fighter like myself :good
I respect that Curtis, it's nice to see your actually focusing on parts of your skillset and trying to develop them. Glad you and Dave are on good terms and hopefully you can get back in ring sharpish and get winning again. You deserve praise for a thoughtful decision. :good
Good stuff Mr Woodhouse, every trainer brings something new to the plate and all you can do is learn from that.
variety is spice of life! hope to get out again before christmas to get back to winning ways then hope to mount another charge at something bigger in the new year
