Curtis Woodhouse to fight Derry Matthews?

Definitely gonna be a war! I think Curtis could pull it off, Matthews didn't look his best last time and all those wars might just be catching up with him. Wood house late stoppage for me.

 

Think Derry has got a bit to much for Curtis. Really excited about the fight going to be a real good fight. Can't go 12 rounds surely

 

Despite being down-to-earth and honest about himself as a boxer, Woodhouse continues to fight any hard ****er he can get! Love it!

He looks to be carrying some very decent power down at lightweight, if he stays busy like Coyle did but maintains full concentration (unlike Coyle) I give him a real chance.

Derry however is a half-level above boxing-wise imo and after being there in Hull at his last fight I could tell he was gutted to have been beat up like that, he knows people will be saying the wars have taken their toll and I think he believes he has a point to prove.

But if you got there early enough you would have seen Curtis in fine shape, looking sharp and nasty, and I can't help thinking that the Woodhouse I saw that night would beat the Mathews I saw later that night.

Meaningless? Hopeful? Maybe, but I'm gonna cling onto it!
