Unlucky curtis its been a bad time for ESB brit forum fighters recently:-(

 

Just wanna say a massive thanks to all who came to the show, all who have been talking about it and of course to the fighters who made it such a special event.
I'm so proud of Curtis, he always said he would rather get knocked out going for the ko rather than losing a pts decision and boring the fans.
Got huge respect for Miles also, he's such a nice kid, a pleasure to work with but an absolute brute when the bell goes! Hope he makes a bit of a name for himself now, fans love his style!!
I still can't believe he actually got up from the shot Miles put on him, went down like he'd been shot.
From early on you knew Miles power was hurting him but he never went into a shell, fired back and looked like he'd got Miles in trouble and just went he went on to pile on the pressure he got caught coming in.
When two men are in there firing bombs, someone is gonna go and unfortunately for us, it was Curtis.
I noticed during round three his cheek was swollen, turns out he's got a fractured cheekbone.
Curtis was never going to be one of those fighters that went on long unbeaten runs, he has no amateur background and is learning as he goes on.
The british title is still the aim/dream, and its now my job to bring him back and get him back up there in the mix.

We've already spoke, and he's over the moon with the fans reaction to the fight. He doesn't want to come back with a soft 6 rounder, he wants exciting fights and decent names to get him back up there as soon as poss.

Like him or not, the man has a fantastic attitude and isn't afraid to put himself in real fights that fans want to see.

An absolute pleasure to work with.

Would also like to say a massive well done to my young prospect Nav Mansouri who's fight with Nathan Graham was an absolute barn burner!!
Both kids gave everything in that fight, immense will to win from both and i'm over the moon that my man got the stoppage.
I have high hopes for Nav, a great kid who i've had sparring with Mallignaggi and Rhodes and working on his strength with Mark Willie who does the same for Ryan.
