Yeah. I'd fancy him to win but it won't be easy. This is what we've been crying out for - domestic rivalries where the fights actually happen. Good stuff.
yea spot on pal:good defo gona look into the odds of curtis causing an upset. im still picking frankie to win but it wont be easy, hopefully its an 8 or 10 rounder
I can't see Gavin beating Woodhouse and I can't see Warren putting him in with him. The way Gavin gets cut could really hold him back.
If anybody on here thinks Woodhouse will take this then you are clearly clueless. This fight is there for Gavin on a silver platter. Wont go past the 8th
Id expect Gavin to get hit a bit more than usual but i have no doubts he will win, he is far too classy for Woodhouse, his arsenal of punches will keep him out infront for most of the rounds.
I dont expect Gavin to be hit more mate. Gavins naturally a defensive fighter. Going forward against lads who refuse to open up isn't what he preferes to do. Expect a counter punching lesson from him here.
He is, but it seems to me that he does, from time to time, like to bang it out since turning pro, although that might be as you said, trying to prise open these guys who shell up and offer no offense. I dont think Woodhouse is your straight aghead aggressor most anticipate him to be though, he is pretty patient with his attack so wont present as !! many counter punching opurtines as we might think, although i do expect him to get outboxed as Gavin counters him.
Frankie is a obvious favorite. But Woodhouse presents certain problems for a young prospect like Gavin as many above have said. Gavin has skills and will for the most part outbox Woodhouse but Woodhouse will take him into unknown territory. Woodhouse has a lovely left hook to body and head and doubles it from time to time. With Frankie he likes to roll out at times to his right (to opponents left) i could see him getting caught in the fight with this shot. I'm looking forward to it. Lovely clash of styles and stories. Curtis won't be like many before him who are caught in headlights of the moment and opponent.
