Gavin gets hit way to easy and whilst thats OK when you are fighting a Polish kitchen fitter who just rocks up to fall over it won't be OK against a live opponent like Woodhouse....my only concern is that Gavin gets cut early and at the first sign of trouble the ref gives Gavin a gift stoppage like against Tait.

I still don't think that the fight will happen.....Woodhouse looked a bit too game on Friday night for Frankies liking :deal

 

The cuts rule could be all changed by the time this fight takes place in september :good

I think it is a big step up in class for both of them.

Gavin looked embarrassed after his last fight - it was yet another of Frank's ''never been stopped'' bull**** opponents - which means you might as well put the house on a stoppage.

Woodhouse has come through a tough fight against Bull, and should take the opportunity if offered.

He didn't retaliate, his goons were getting in there first...didn't like the look of the idiots he was knocking around with but that doesn't colour my view of Gavin as a fighter. I'm almost certain that Curtis didn't say the highlighted bit, could be mistaken though.

See above re posse, it was like watching school kids at it. You have to admit that despite his background and his achievements in the amateurs he isn't the most difficult of fighter to catch, he's not a willo the wisp type. (The taken to school comment was tongue in cheek BTW)

For someone who was sat 4 rows back I find it hard to believe you don't remember Woodhouse coming over to that corner and shouting over the ropes to him. And you are mistaken (although possibly nopt word for word that but something along those lines

He's been caught whilst trying to open fighters up who want nothing more than to last. The two opponents of his that have come to fight were McDonagh and that Saville and Gavin opened them both up with complete ease.
