    He got a majority, 95 95, 96,94 96 94, the knockdown got him the title!

    Edit, 3rd judge was 95 94 so even closer!

    Well chuffed for him tbh

    WAR CURTIS!!

    Although to be fair, alot of boxers in Curtis's shoes aren't financially sound through having a relatively successful career in football. I don't think any of those guys would want to fight for little or nothing. Nor should they be willing to.

    Curtis does have a fantastic attitude though and I hope it rubs off on his peers..

    ****in' get in Curty, hope I get to see the Ryan fight, first one I've missed for a while!

    He was decent at City (Hull) too when he played, remember seeing him away at Norwich, he got booked and subbed immediately for blowing his top I seem to remember? I think he just likes a scrap. :bbb

    Commendable attitude as a boxer, a real example, never lets you down win or lose. One of me faves.

    Thats excelkent, Curtis deserves this, always wanted him to do well and it seems he is passionate about boxing. Well done pal!

    can't believe we have a thread involving a boxer,3 pages in and he has no knobheads like dogtag or some other **** of a knobhead abusing him,well done ESB.

    and curtis,top bloke,great boxer and a credit to the sport

    thanks fellas, really chuffed to bits to win the english title last night, it was a tough fight but i thought i won by a bit more than the judges had it, dave ryan came to fight so respect to him for that, really pushed me hard and it ended up being a cracking fight, thanks esb for you support throughout

    Anyone think he fights at the wrong weight??

    I think he would look better at 147, thats just me .
