People should note that Mike published a memoir about Cus last year called “Iron Ambition.” His book a few years ago “Undisputed Truth” had a couple really good chapters on Cus, and this book tells more of the story. Both are great reads.
I think of this Cus quote when I see D'Amato and Iron Mike together: “To see a man beaten not by a better opponent, but by himself is a tragedy."
