Does anyone know what rules will be followed should either fighter get cut? The mad point off WBC rules or one of the other governing bodies? Given Fury has a propensity to cut, this might be an important point.
Fury will stand centre ring, grab a mic, and boldly declare “I LIVE FOR THIS SH**!!” then turn southpaw and piece little USKY up some more. Live camera feed will cut to Ben Davidson grinning in the crowd.
Didn’t someone post (maybe joking of course) it was under the Middle East Boxing Commission or something?
Oh I'm not sure Bob but I'm quite certain it's BBBoC. Seen a few officials from the Central Area out there already, in a professional capacity. Rob Smith the chairman of Central area is out there allong with others and some officials from other areas.
Yep, forget where I saw it now - the overall card is under the BBBoC but someone had said the main event is the exception judges brought in from elsewhere etc. I'll go digging!
That was an article on Boxing Scene around midday on Wednesday, quoting Mauricio Sullimain saying the Middle East commission would oversee the Usyk fight and the BBB of C would handle the rest of the bill. Sounded fishy to me!
Same guy who was proposing four or even six judges for the main event. Bob Arum told him to get lost.
I wonder what rulebook they'll refer to should Fury suffer a fight ending cut after four completed rounds...........
Will be similar to the fight below where the judges watched the full 3 minutes back a number of times and still deemed this to be an accidental headbutt even though heads never came close once. The eyes will see what Turkey wants them to see. This content is protected
That's quite odd, especially when it was BBBoC that weighed the main event in. Will be interesting to see who the judges are on the night.
Can’t see it being much of a problem considering the cut fury had vs wallin which was really bad and they let that continue
