Was Floyd's cutman Rafael Garcia fired or did he retire? He worked with Floyd for over 13 years. Floyd said that he was not happy with the way he wrapped his hands. Being 85 years old Floyd should have just kept him on the team.
I don't think Floyd was unhappy with how Garcia wrapped his hands. I think what happened was that Garcia was working Mickie beys corner while Mayweather was supposed to be getting his hands wrapped. So midway through the fight Garcia went to wrap Floyd but floyd told him to stay in Mickies corner and that he was getting his hands wrapped by a guy they call do it all bob I think he goes by. May weather said it was the best wrap he's ever had and obviously that would cause Garcia to feel some type of way after working with him for years and years. May weather said Garcia was retiring already but I think he would've continued working with him if this didn't happen.
