Cutting Off The Ring

Lara's footwork often leaves himself to far out of range to get his own punches off, which is the only criticism that I would have.

 

People that dont know **** about boxing call footwork running, fact is id fighter knows how to cut the ring of other fighter will not be able to "run".

We had both examples on display.

Canelo can't cut a ring off properly.

Lara exercised good footwork, but also ran way too much

 

You right, but you know it seems to me hat they're not selling boxing anymore but instead they sold out for entertainment. Canelo knows he got his ass outboxed and kicked but he wanna claim the man was running to try and make up for his inability to cut off the ring properly and people are buying that bull****. He didn't say that **** when Trout had his ass running all over the ring. He was a defensive master then. When his fat ass gets to 160 we will see how much he wants to stand toe to toe.

 

all the advantages he enjoyed at the lower weights won't exist at 160.

 

footwork is fine.

lara needs to to know how and when to clinch.

 

The reality is that Canelo has reached his ceiling. He's not the most physically gifted fighter in the world so you can't expect him to do so much. He is what he is. A limited but good fighter none the less.

 

Lara was already running before he even throw a punch... and he cried robbery. lol.
