    hey guys
    im 170 right now.
fight in two weeks at 152-165.
has anyone tried sweating off the pounds before a fight and how did you do it, and how much did you lose? i mean, im sure i can only get down to 168ish by dieting/exercise (its already veeeery hard for me to lose anything - i came down from 240 in two years), so any words of advice would be helpful. what about cleaning your bowels out? i heard theres around 10 pounds of crap in your colon at any given time?
    thanks

    lookin forward to the replies.

10 lbs? no.. unless you have a very bad diet.
    1. start by eating a LOT of vegetables. get some gunk out of your system
    2. Figure out how much weight you lose overnight
    3. get on the scale like crazy and don't eat unless you're below a target weight, which you would set from the number you got in number 2. I would not try to lose more than a pound a day.
    4. in am boxing don't you weigh in several times, up to the same day of the fight? then I would not drop more than 4lbs. That number is dependant on the individual but I found it really easy to sweat out 3-4lbs, and then hard as hell to sweat anything more.
    5. prune juice on the morning of the fight. you'll poop out whatever you have left.

    good luck!

Lose whatever you can the natural way before making weight by dehydration. I dehydrated one or two pounds to make weight because it was the last option. If you can get to 168 you could box at 165 but definitely not lower. The bowel thing is nonsense.
