hey guys im having a fight in about 3 weeks and i need to drop about 5kgs. i dropped about 10 recently but have been stable at about 86kgs for a while now. any tips on getting me to fight weight in time?
I'm similar to you. Was originally 90kg, dropped down to about 86kg. Training for my 1st fight now am 84kg in the morn. I will be fighting at 78kg (super middleweight). Was talking to trainer today, he said in the week leading up i should be within 2kg's of weigh in weight, as 3kg's is easily to lose in sauna or sweat suit + skipping. To lose the extra 4 kg's i'm just eating right and going to be running 3 day's p/week. This along with boxing training should get me down.
