If the fight happened tomorrow Usyk would destroy Joshua no question. Usyk is simply levels above the fake Gold Medalist.
so much conjecture floats around on this site. There is nothing to suggest who holds the advantage in a fight. Both are green professionals. Professional ranks are littered with medalists that fall short.
Oh really? One need only watch both guys fight and you can clearly see the vast gulf in skill between the 2. Usyk was destroying the Joshua's of the world for years in the WSB. Joshua was getting destroyed by far less fighters than Usyk.
Reminder!!! Joshua is green, Usyk is not! He was world level by the time he made his debut. Joshua is a work in progress.
Joshua would have knocked out all of Usyk's opponents in rd 1-2 Also if Usyk is fighting at CW it tells me one thing. He fears knock-out power at HW. He's not got knock-out power in that division going from his last fights. He's having trouble despatching boxers even Wilder would knock out. He'd beat a couple in the top ten on pts in the HW division. I think anybody with knock out power or reach (Fury) should handle him.
That first line is funny. Joshua was getting knocked out and getting gift decisions. But he would miraculously KO everyone Usyk fought.:rofl Is Joshua "would have" the new David Haye "would have"? He competed against guys Joshua's size as an AM and handled them with ease. He has a perfect KO ratio how does he not have KO power? He may not be 1 punch concussive but its enough to score KD's and KO's and ultimately enough to break a guys spirit and make them quit.
He had a headguard on in the AMS He's currently getting late KO/TKO's vs CW's Its much harder to do that vs legit monsters who outweigh you by 20-50lbs
http://www.***********.com/uploads/69954/Alexander%20Usyk%20%20%2826%29.JPG Josh is roughly the same size as Wlad. I'm a fan of Usyk. I think if he stays at CW and dominates the division he'll overtake holyfield as probably the best boxer in that division. Holyfield had success at HW because of his chin. He can take a punch. Can Usyk? I don't think he can from power punchers without headguards.
Be an interesting match-up, that's for sure. Usyk's more well rounded, I think...but I have to wonder if he'd be able to take flush right hand from Joshua about as well as he took one from Muller. :think
