How would Bivol fare throughout the 1970s & 80s?

Good enough to beat a Mike Spinks or Bob Foster?

    I think so

Bivol is probably my favorite active fighter rn & I think he would be a standout in any era.

That said, I would wait & see how he fares in the biggest fight of his career next month before having the confidence to pick him over any ATGs.

You better aim a lot lower,, I seriously doubt he beats Eddie Mustafa Muhammad , Qawi, maybe not even Marvin Johnson . Might favor him over Yaqui Lopez though.

As great as those fighters were, Bivol could eek out a couple wins against everyone but Qawi.

The biggest issue fighting back in those days was the wear and tear factor. And I just do not think he handles that too well. Goes downhill quick in that environment and timeframe.

Too soon to say. Bivol hasn’t done enough yet, since Bivol has yet to prove he is even the best current light heavyweight.

Both Bob Foster and Michael Spinks were able to conquer the light heavyweight division during their time.
