Who has the better Resume & who is the better fighter overall???? Can we get some breakdowns?

I have to go with Breazeale every time. Not just head to Head but Overall Better fighter. Resume, Work Ethic, D.Breazeale is also a bona fide Heavyweight. Ruiz if fit, is more of a natural 190 pound Cruiserweight/Light-Heavy. Ruiz is smaller than Zurdo on a proper diet.

Breazeale Notable Wins: (7 year Pro)
    17-0 Ugohnoh
    21-1 Mansour
    Faded Molina
    20-1 Negron
    18-0 Consuegra

Ruiz Notable Wins: (10 year Pro)
    21-0 Hanks
    UD Ancient KingPin
    Last Legs Dimitrenko
(Tried to Secure fight against Ike Ibeabuchi)

Breazeale got wiped out and looked like a fried chicken eating tub of s**t when he got in with AJ, moobs bouncing around all over the place as Joshua battered the hell out of him. It will be interesting to see how Ruiz Jr stands up to such an onslaught, should Joshua take it to him in the same manner that he did Breazeale.

it will be easier to tell post AJ who is better

    h2h i would pick ruiz 65/35

ruiz we base on the parker fight where fighting in nz he showed a great chin and good skills and fast hands
brezeale biggest fight was against aj where he showed he was tough and determined but was not suited against a style like aj and was never in the fight.

IMO I see ruiz doing better v joshua than brezeale especially in the first 3 rounds which might be a bit cagey as aj takes a look and does not press the action

ruiz handspeed will be in pley until AJ adjusts .

i think ruiz has a very good chin he did not blink when parker landed flush

breazeale win resume is better and he is higher ranked deservedly so

dimetrenko is a nothing win IMO he no longer shoots out a jab with anything on it or commits to winning a fight just collecting paydays.

ugonoh win was against a fighter with very hood skills and power and it was just brezeale toughness that got him the win

h2h i see ruiz taking brezeale power and likewise with ruiz being able to stand up to brezeale
hard to punch up with power but i think ruiz speed and combos out speeding the big man and ruiz winning a ud by 3 or 4 points

Ruiz is better and got robbed against Parker, but apart from that fight...sadly his resume is crap.

    Breazeale has the resume.
Ruiz has looked more solid overall.

Breazeale obviously has the better record, it's not even comparable in this regard.

But as for who's better, tricky. Both come forward fighters, both durable, though I think Breazeale's chin has been tested more vs bigger punchers. I can't see the taller Breazeale out boxing Ruiz he simply doesn't fight that way, so it comes down to who can push the other guy back more.

Breazeale is bigger, hits harder, but Ruiz Jr is faster, better in close and with Breazeale coming at him I see him countering effectively in combination. I see the early rounds going to Ruiz but then DB comes on stronger as Ruiz Jr fades.

Think it will be a close fight, who wins will come down to who wants it more and is willing to impose themselves more. I'm thinking Breazeale might edge Ruiz simply because he's shown before in tough fights he can dig deep and come out on top, while Ruiz has yet to show he can do that as the one time he stepped up and was tested he lost, albeit in a close fight.

Breazeale you’d think is the tougher opponent but Joshua already wiped the floor with him while he had man flu so let’s see how Ruiz does

Breazeale is a drainer...he drains and slowly starts wearing guys down. He has trouble with shorter opponents around that 6'2 mark but they haven't been able to slow him down , even with a big 6'5 Izu he took wicked full frontal shots and was lucky enough to keep a certain pace against a a body attack and head to body brutal combo puncher .

Ruiz is releatively unrtested but has a tentative Parker win at least unofficially but all these guys have progressed ( don't you guy realize fighters progress yet ? )

A head to head clash eventually favors Breazeale .

Ruiz is maybe top 15 and is better all around but going on effectiveness? IDk hard to pick against A 6'7 TOP FINISHER WHO PRESSES OVER A FASTER LIMITED FOOT RANGE FIGHTER AT 6'1 .

The more formidable opponent is Breazeale against a less adversary in wilder so it will look like wilder is having the better fighter but the truth is Joshua easily beats Ruiz and Breazeale same night if he had to. . lol

Joshua will make VERY formiddable opponent Ruiz look the same as most,a guy who cant win.

Yeah, this basically lays it out. Dom has the better resume and is better by the eye test. It's really not legitimately debateable. But Wilder hate and AJ love make people do crazy things sometimes. Jeez people, just admit Wilder is facing the better fighter this time. It won't kill you.

As much as I don't like Donkey Wilder. I have to say Breazeale is a better opponent.
But I don't understand the comparison. Yes DW is the other belt holder but he is no where in the division. Fury already beat him. We should be comparing Furys opponent to Joshua's. DW is a Champ in name only he isn't relevant when discussing AJ or the man he lost too TF

Think Ruiz would win a fight between the two. In terms of standing in the division, I'm not sure there's too much between them though.
