All I can say at this moment is that God has not taken him away from us, perhaps Paul will come back and serve the sport in another way, right now I am grateful he is still with us.
I'm hopeful Paul walks again and who knows.....maybe he could return to the ring like Vinny Paz was able to after his near death experience. Paul was one of my favorite fighters a few years back and I just dug how humble and real he was. I for sure will be praying for him.
ken norton was told he'd never walk again after his accident. something tells me paul will walk again. if not...i'm sure he'll learn to deal with the situation. he said it best...."hakuna matata."
Paul said something today or yesterday along the lines of, 'if I can't walk, I'll just go fishing'. The guy is pretty amazing. I really, really hope things turn out better than they seem they're going to.
I'm glad I got to watch him live in action even if it was just for a little bit against Kermit Cintron. I wish him the best and hope he makes a miraculous recovery to walking again like Kevin Everett.
I love his positive attitude, a lot of people should look up to him in the fact that if somethin happens it aint the end of the world life goes on
