i think he already had an operation on his hand in the stiverne fight he does have some brittle hands
He's getting injured too often and it's obvious what's happening: He's swinging wildly, letting his form turn to ****, and getting hurt in the process. He needs to change this. He can't keep doing this. It's funny though, when he does hurt himself mid-fight, he seems to start boxing more sensibly with a good, controlled jab. This lead to a landslide points victory over Stiverne, and I would think would leave a landslide victory over other fighters who are much better than Stiverne, like Povetkin. The problem is, when he's not injured, he puts it all on the KO, and doesn't win rounds well. He's been lucky in that he's been getting injured early. So he can change tactics and win on points with the jab. All it's going to take is for him to get injured after round 6, after trying to get the KO all night and losing lots of rounds, and his jab won't save him.
HELL NO! Wilder is a superior human. A young, strong country boy whose mother is probably feeding him coal oil and biscuits as we speak. Them southern country boys you can run over with a train, split them in half, and they still not only live, but the two halves of their bodies will mend and he's back in the ring within a year.
Oh he's tough alright no question, that last injury sounded awful and yet he just shrugs it off like it were nothing. He needs to be more exact with his punches, cut out the windmill thing and learn to punch straight.
Those aren't injures, they're excuses. And his career was derailed from the beginning by his comically weak chin and his clownish clumsiness
