Higa storms across the ring and is immediately on the offensive, Oliveros looks to be happy on the backfoot, Higa going to the body early, Higa using his jab well and Oliveros is having limited opportunities to fire back, he does take some of those but then gets countered. Hige hurts him with a body shot and smells blood, the crowd roar but Oliveros sees off the first wave, another big attack from Higa ends with another big body shot, Oliveros letting his hands go but having very limited success, Oliveros hurt from another body shot. 10-9 Higa

Oliveros starting the round with some confidence but it gets him in trouble with Higa fighting him back, good body shot from Oliveros but it's back with interest as Higa batters his body. Oliveros dropped! Up...and straight back down...Higa is straigth at him....and down again! And Higa looks for a 4th knockdown...and this time it's OVAH!

Higa seemed really upset about something in his post fight interview, was in tears at one point, Yoko joined him in the interview, cracked a joke, complimented his protege and Higa seemed to cheer up...
