I concur! And most likely Molina will get the nod since he's ranked in the top ten of the IBF.

Let's not fool ourselves. This is a total mismatch of epic proportions. Molina isn't even on Martin or Brezeale's level. Saying that, Molina has racked up some notable wins through self belief and all due respect goes to him. His performance vs Wilder was more a testament to Wilder's flaws than anything. This is a bonafide KO1 or 2.

 

Personally I think he's on a similar level to those two, he can't do worse than Martin no matter what.

 

For a 4th choice, on short notice, its not bad

 

Yeah, I'm not blaming Joshua for this, he clearly tried to get Klitschko, Pulev, Stiverne etc. so this is acceptable on short notice. Still, it is a mismatch and not really what we fans want to see.

 

Molina is way more credible than the chinny Price who has not risked fighting anyone in the top 200 since being KOdby Teper.
Hearn has repeatedly said in the past Price should fight somebody credible like Molina before getting a crack at AJ but Coldwell and Price just want to fight bums and get an undeserved payday.

You never know with molina. After his TKO loss to Arreola a few years ago by Wipeout, I would have never thought he'd get to this point... he's ranked number 8 in the IBF top 10!!!!!!!!!!

 

Why not Duhaupass? Molina won,t last long

 

That makes sense too, since Duhaupass is ranked number 4, but he just beat the Viking not too long ago, No?
