Its a great pickup for SF. Daley kills Cyborg. Daley is far more technical to lose to Cyborg barring a lucky punch. Diaz will take Daley down and sub him, as much as I hate the fckr thats how the fight will go down.
Im sure Nick would do as always by applying some pressure and throwing lots of punches but in this fight its probably more to close the distance, clinch and secure a takedown because clinch takedowns are usual how Diaz gets it.
I'm not so sure about that, Cyborg gave Manhoef all he wanted for 3 rounds, and really only lost due to exhaustion. If Cyborg, being the stronger fighter, can somehow throw Daley to the ground or pin him against the cage in a clinch, I think Daley would be in trouble. I do think Diaz would have no trouble with Daley; he has destroyed good strikers lately.
If Daley beats Cyborg then put him in with Diaz. You guys are right, Diaz needs someone to talk **** about and someone who is willing to be as much of a ***** post fight as he is.
http://mmajunkie.com/news/20135/off...with-strikeforce-fighter-weighing-options.mma Not to rain on everyone parade, but Junkies saying he hasn't signed yet and he still wants to consider his options. Weren't there reports a while back that Daley had signed with Bellator that were also false? And what about his involvement in Golden Glory's MMA World Series that we keep hearing about?
SF are clearly the number 2 org in MMA. They have alot to offer Daley in terms of belts and godo match ups. I'm suprised Daley hasn't signed for them already. The only issue is the amount of footage there is of Daley saying that the UFC is the bigtime and he had previously been in elite/sf. That's a little knock for a company trying to rival the UFC. Might be an opportunity for SF to get him and he can start saying how SF have changed and become so good, blah, blah, blah.
