He certainly can, and for the following reasons

He does hold a win over Loma. He's been in a number of impossibly exciting fights. And, he would be the one to draw in fans if the fight were to be held in SubHub and viewers on HBO. Loma just hasn't built the type of fanbase that Siri has.

Money talks, and Siri's the one with the money in this case.

Is Salido some kind of a big ticket now?
His brawl with PED cheat Vargas drew pathetic 830k on HBO, that's less than what Brandon Rios brings

His win was a dubious one and over 2 years ago, he hasn't accomplished jack**** since then.
Loma did what he couldn't do in 3 fights, moved up and won a belt.

If 830k is pathetic (and it peaked for the main event at 954) than what would you call the 585k that Loma did on HBO (peaking at a Rigo-like 613k)?

Anyway, a W is a W as far as the record books are concerned, and since then Salido has engaged in three FOTY candidates. Entertainment often overcomes accomplishment when it comes to determining A-side.

So, yeah...Salido's the one holding the cards.

This thread had zero intent to change anyone's mind, I really do not care about doing the impossible. I simply derive enormous entertainment value from watching poster's trip over there feet, thumbs and tounges defending a low life, degenerate, cheater who disrespects the sport. It so obvious your motivation behind this. If it had been Russell Jr in Loma's place most of the posters defending Salido would be calling for him to be tared and feathered.

Yet they cry foul, trying to subscribe some sinister, racially motivated agenda to me. Convicting me in their kangaroo courts. The only thing I am guilty of is wanting justice for a dynamic fighter trying to right a wrong in a sport that welcomed him like a rattlesnake at a squirrel convention.

I noticed the thread and skimmed it but in all honesty just found it odd and creepy, so I moved on.

Such passion! I must declare that I might die from dehydration from all the tears that I've shed reading such a truly, truly heart-felt plea for understanding.

Or, I could also react in a different manner, and post the following to express how I feel...

On second thought, I think the second choice is a much better way to react. :good :D

Lomo, again to drive this point home, is the one chasing Salido so he will have to bend more to get Salido.
You are spot on bro because Salido has created a bigger fan base with his last efforts no matter the outcome of the fights. He has evolved into an even bigger legend than before and even casuals know him based on the last fights.

Pay the man Lomo:deal Or move the FK on and regret it for for the rest of your career:hey

Sacheato deserves a good payday, but he shouldn't get more than the champion Lomachenko.. sacheato lost to Rocky, and hasn't really done much before or after beating Loma. Loma has been on a good run since Sacheato with wins over Russell, and Rocky. 55/45 or 60/40 split sounds fair.

After winning to lomachenko, is not Salido the one that should be interested in this fight. Was I Salido, I would do nothing for that to happen.

You want the rematch? call me, make a good offer and let's see, and if I have a better fight because your offer is not good enough, then you dont get the rematch because I've nothing to prove since I've already won to you. Easy life.
