Hand picked 'name' opponent who turns 36 next year, lost 2 of his last 3 and is in heavy decline hampered by previous injuries all held in a echo ridden quarter full Sheffield arena.......what's not to like.

Step up for Smith but expect a win then claims of world class - Hillsborough next for the raw, young (27) fresh talent.

If Zepeda has much left in the tank and is the better fighter on the night, then for his sake I hope he can get the KO, if not we all know what's coming on the cards, always seems to happen with this outfit

Oh they are most certainly banking on him being shot.

If zepeda got anything left he could chin him.

Mexicans coming over here been on a bit of a roll.

Gonna put a tenner on him for some fun.

    Maybe 7 to 9.

    See how he starts.

    Raw young touche hahahaha

Taking missus to show. £47 each for tickets. Solid value. Been off the drink for a month so going out for a meal pre show and then get on the beers. Decent card. Top 3 matches are good imo.

Campbell Soup Hatton is the Matchroom future once Benn is destroyed when he faces his first live test.

Unfortunately it looks like stale bread will be in the soup until Hearn can make the huge fight for the Hyde Area Title on Box Office.

Hope you did not include Terence Harper v Alexander Ryan in the top 3 matches.

Incredibly this fight is on before the Smith fight when most of us would prefer this to take place before the doors open.

How are people complaining with Zepeda as an opponent? Smith's best win is Sam Maxwell - this is a huge step-up and if Smith wins this, he's ready for any of Matchroom's / Golden Boy's top 140 fighters like Matias, Catterall, Prograis, Hitchins, Paro, Barbosa Jr, Garcia etc. I'm really looking forward to the main event to see whether Smith is as good as people make out. It's a legit test and Zepeda losing to Hitchins is no shame as Hitchins is top quality.

Unfortunately I'll be missing the undercard which is a shame as Davis vs Williamson and Flint vs Hatton are two good domestic fights. It's a really good card tonight so I would have liked to watch from 7pm.

I reckon Williamson shocks Davis and beats him.
It's on. They did a deal for rehydration and it's happening.
No, Hatton will win. Good matchmaking, Flint has sold a lot of tickets. Hatton has made a lot of improvements and will win on points 6-4 / 7-3.
