I haven't seen much of his videos but I distinctly remember him saying Barrera was one of the better prospects in the LHW division long before the Ward fight. He used to give Barrera a lot of props.

Now that I think of it I think it was during the Gonzalez vs Pascal events. He was talking about how Gonzalez wasn't even the best Cuban LHW.

He wasn't this bad at first. Not even a year ago he was sounding way better. Now it's GGG Kov LOMA Usyk and whatever EE fighter makes it to the top.

 

Stevenson should fight Barrera.
