Volleyball running over into boxing's time on PolSat, France vs. Serbia, no idea how long is left.

 

Starting to doubt the originally advertised time slot of 1600-1800 (4pm to 6pm local time in Poland), which seemed a bit odd anyway ...but was listed on PolSat's website on their programming guide yesterday.

I'm seeing other sources listing it on PolSat Sport Fight (separate channel) live from 19:30 local time (three hours from now...which actually makes a ton more sense)

 

Alright, correction (again ) - gala undercard apparently on Fight channel from 7:30pm local time and then main card on regular PolSat Sport from 10pm local time. (4pm EST)

 

Over six hours of televised indoor volleyball. Men's volleyball, mind you. I'd never realized this sport was so popular anywhere. I honestly forget it exists in between seeing it at the Olympics every four years.

Women in bikinis on a beach spiking & jousting with their mammary sacks quivering, that I could see watching for several hours. But this?

 

The score is Poland 2|9, Argentina 2|10.

I'm guess that means they're split two sets (or whatever they call them) apiece, with Poland down a point in set three?

 

Poland ties it, 2|10 all. So what I want to know is how do we know how far away from over this is? There's no timer graphic.

edit: they scored again, Poland up by one, 2|11. Argentina calls a timeout.

 

I just Googled it, yeah, fifth and final set here. In sets 1-4 they play until someone hits 25 points, but in the 5th they play until 15. So we're very close.

 

Argies won.

 

Well, it was a controversial ending, that much was clear - but I don't speak Polish or understand the rules of volleyball, so..

 

They're still talking about volleyball, instead of showing live boxing...
