Has Hooper got a brother in the Aussie team or is that the Maloneys?

I seem to remember Hooper-Ward was very close. What was the score?

Joe Ward will take Damian hooper, hes improved leaps and bounds over the last couple of years. I think he will take a medal in london.

Broken hand:rofl:lol: what a **** weak excuse. That's what losers say. Have a look at the results of the recent world championships. Ward lost by 10 points in the 3rd round to someone who lost by 10 points in the round after. Hooper lost in the quarter finals 14:13 to the Cuban gold medalist.

ward lost on a countback you fool it was 15 - 15
just the weekend gone ward beat the russian lad egor mehkontsev (ranked 2nd in the world) 20-14 in the chemistry cup and claimed best technical boxer of the tournament which included 9 formerworld champions and the kazacki lightheavy world silver medalist who mehkontsev battered in the semis

if hooper ward meet in the olympics it will be a good fight as they are both very talented but it will end up like the first time they met with ward winning a fairly comfortable decision

You cant gone on one competition to judge how goos each of them are.

Ward had one bad competition in 2011, and didnt perform to his best, which is what you have to do if you're going to do well at that level of boxing.

All in all though, last year was a great year for him, especially considering that it he only recently started fighting at senior international level. And judging by his recent performances in the Irish championships, where he basically destroyed Kenny Egan, and his recent win over Mehonstev, a former world gold medalist, he will be a hard man to beat. Should be a good scrap whenever himself an Hoopee meet anyways. From the little ive seen of him, he looks a talented fella himself.

Ward has only lost once since losing to hooper and that was on a count back . He destroyed egan two months ago and egan beat hooper a couple of months ago .
