dam shame, hooper should have stayed in the amateurs and give it one more crack, he didnt do to bad and would have only improved more for the next games, contuine on the holy grail rather than selling out and turning pro imo.
yep i heard he was coming over to train with christian, probably a good move craig is a good trainer and he has some decent lightheavy amateur guys who would be good for sparring.
Damien would be best to stay away from Hyder. Although now that Vic and Green are coming to the end of their careers Hyder will need to latch on to someone he can make some money out of.
Not the biggest fan of hyder either myself, although he does have a lot of connections within the industry, craig is a good trainer though.
No doubt Craig is one of the best trainers in the country and also does the right things by his fighters. But I would be concerned with Hyders input and motivation.
hyder is not the best tactician either, i remember in the tarver fight his advice to greeny was "fight like hopkins" atsch. I would not be going with him if i was damien i agree with you a hundred percent mate
And his advice for stevie Wills in one of his fox friday fights "do the winky, do the winky wright" atsch
I was just about to post the same thing. I love boxing and have met some great people through the sport, but **** me dead there are a lot of thin skinned people in the industry too.
