Yes i put my DOB on the appilication, i was phoned to verify my age and to inform me that i was over the age limit. wasnt to happy about it but rules are rules. I dont do drugs or smoke winnie blues but nice try moron.:good
You must find it hard to keep up with all your lies. In the past you said that you were offered a scholarship, but now it's just a case of you having simply applied for one. Another rejection to add to that long list of life's failures.
I applied for a job as a doctor once, but I didn't get it as I have never went to medical school.:good
everyone has to put in the same paperwork for the AIS, i had qualifyed and there was a minor technicality with my age that needed to be verifyed before i could be accepted, if your getting a phone call from the AIS then its a sure thing ur being offerd a position there based on your paperwork, age being regulated in the sport was the minor technicality, i was out by one year i think it was and why would i make up bullsht like that? id been trying to get into the AIS for the past 2 yrs during that time you moron, go back to your notes in that book ur writing about me. You should be more concern with people who are current and active than you are about my boxing history you creepy fck lol
thanks for that link whipper, its been blown out of proportion by those who support the ABA boys club, all this kid is doing is speaking his mind and not sucking nut sacks so they boot him out. WTF is this team bond crap about, its a one man sport. He shouldnt have to go on some bonding trip with the other fighters holding hands and singing koombayaa. Must be alot of pressure on him and he has my respect for standing his ground, id have dne the exact same thing if they wanted me to jump, bark, roll over and shake hands lol, he is no ones lap dog. Good on ya Damien, hope you win gold bro!
these events are in existence to be based on a team mentality you ******.A team is based on trust and co operation and if one link in the chain is weak or un cooperative the whole chain falls apart, how bad would it reflect if the whole olympic squad acted as selfish individuals? your anti establishment attitude is pathetic
Boxing is not a team sport. Do you want me to write that in BIG BOLD LETTERS you simple danny green nut hugging karnt?
are you trying to say can't or ****?. So a boxer doesn't have a team of people around him assisting him to reach his or her greatest level of potential? that is a team
the argument was that its not a team sport no matter how hard you twist that pimple sized dick of yours its a one on one sport, no trainer, cornerman or waterboy can help a boxer win a fight, they cant take blows for them, they cant be tagged in when your gassed. you understand ya simple kunt
Olympic national boxing teams are TEAMS. It's an important part of sports psychology, no athlete in the world is lacking a team. Look at how close the Ukrainian boxing team is and they're winning everything.
Thanks for clearing that up. You were never offered a scholarship. You ****ing muppet, that minor technicality you refer to is the age limit for the Olympic Games. You were likely rung up so that you wouldn't waste their time submitting any more applications. All you had next to your name was a Riverina title 15 years earlier and you thought that'd impress them. If you weren't considered the previous 2 years, what makes you think they were about to select you? Are you sure it wasn't just your mates taking the ****?
no one walks in the ring with you its true - its a lonely sport. but that is exactly why you try to build a team environment - a sense that your not alone. whether you are part of an olympic team or part of Team ... fill in the blank. Ty why do you think they call themselves Team Mayweather or Team Pacquiao etc etc.? yes a fighter walks into the ring alone but a good support staff makes him feel that that is only time he feels that way its the same reason coaches always say 'WE" when referring to the fighter - as in WE had a really good camp or WE are fighting him next - boxing is a lonely sport but tis also one for which success is largely dependent on psychological edges There is a hell of a lot more to this story than what is in the press, and hooper has been given plenty of chances, more than what he probably should have been. do you really think our best hope for boxing medal since Jarrod Fletcher would be suspended for 1 action? your bringing your own subjective view on this issues powered by your experiences with the system not Hooper's
