He didn't do much in amateurs and not many people know him even in Poland, but He took a gamble - moved to U.S, often fighting for free - beat couple decent-enough gate-keepers and clearly caught an eye of someone at Top Rank. Knyba is late starter, used to train athlethics (Discus throw) on decent level and only started boxing at 20, has good physical attributes, decent coordination for his size. I heard He's hard worker too, so there's some upside to him. I don't think Top Rank sees him as big prospect They will push too hard, put him on biggest shows or main cards - but rather just one of many, but for him - it's still very big - as He'll have some financial comfort, stability and ability to focus fully on boxing career and make the most of it. I'll be rooting for him, very nice guy.
