I liked how Canelo fought. He brings nothing but action and excitment for the boxing fans. If Cotto wins the fight with Martinez I think Canelo would fight Cotto for the WBC MW title. If Martinez keeps his title then there's a chance to see Canelo fighting Lara which is the fight I want to see. :yep
good stoppage looking back at it............tony weeks is a great ref. him and kenny bayless are the only ones that should get the biggest fights.
From round 1 I think Angulo and his corner were taken out of their game plan without them knowing, Don't think they expected a wrecking ball Canelo, and he caused a lot of damage by the time he did slow down too Much damage had been done to Angulo ,Canelo went to the body early and with bad intentions and it really paid off. If Hunter had of made adjustments after the 1st couple of rounds It might have been a different fight. The stoppage made me ask a lot of questions at 1st, being A canelo fan I thought it was BS, but I watched the rd before and Angulo took a beating and seem to just look up at the stars when Canelo hit him . it was a hard choice for Weeks to make but it was the right one.
