    Oscar was a ****ing underwear model. He had movie star good looks and a gold medal, and you think he was famous because he was a nice kid and did talk shows? SRL was the greatest fighter to come out of perhaps the greatest era in boxing. And he did it when boxing was a MUCH more popular sport in general. It wasn't because he did late night talk shows.

    What exactly is it about Pac that you think would appeal to american fans enough to make them want to watch him fight, if they don't already? Sorry, he just seems boring as **** in every interview I've ever seen. It's probably better that he doesn't speak english very well since he gets to dodge interview topics he wouldn't want to answer.

    Incredibly cynical and wrong.
    Celebrity worship has nothing to do with being bad or good - it is more about stories and context.

    I think that was a suburban myth put out by haters of PBF to downplay anyhing PBF accomplished. It's getting harder and harder to deny, but the haters still try to say he is not a draw when compared to other boxers, even when he does better PPV numbers against identical opponents. I remeber mother****ers siting the economic downturn as the reason that PBF vs. DLH and Hatton did much better numbers than Pac against the same fighters.

    Rumor is that Peterson hurt Floyd's ribs in their heated sparring. Bradley mentioned that after his fight with Peterson. Seing how Peterson is brutal to the body it sounds like the injury was legit. But thats just me.

    Mayweather is smart. He knows PPV's dont just sell themselves. He is a great self promoter. He knows what to say and when to say it.

    :rofl Obviously hes gonna come off boring when his entire vocabulary consist of "I want to make people happy". Its hard for a guy who can barely speak the language to come of as witty, articulate, or just show his personality throw conversation, because hes too busy thinking about the words.

    Try speaking chinese and see if the chinese people warm to you.

    God idiots in this forum.

    He could barely speak English in the Kimmel show and most people found that more entertaining than all the usual pre-rehearsed **** PBF comes up with in hundreds of his interviews.

    That's exactly it and clearly. Those same ******s were temporary Margarito fans that loyally called him the most feared man in the history of the living. Where are they now?, yeah you guessed it.

    Anyway, the DLH/Hatton fights aside, Mayweather was making similar or MORE PPV numbers fighting Gatti, Judah and Baldomir when Pacquiao was fighting a popular exciting fighter like Morales. I'm a fan of both but the truth must be accepted.

    Who cares about what Pac says? People love watching his style this is not reality TV. Pac has the silent/humble warrior thing going on and people like that too. You don't have to always talk ****. I don't see anything wrong with Mayweather trying to be everywhere though. Just selling the fight.

    Survey issued by Pacland center for ******* Studies. These guys never seem to want to give Floyd credit for anything, they would complain if Floyd discovered the cure for cancer.

    Typically yes, but if given the opportunity, he'll do things like these:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvCCuuuJhd4"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvCCuuuJhd4[/ame]

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPoMoHRIEFA"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPoMoHRIEFA[/ame]

    Granted, it's not like he's a natural comedian or anything, but he'll do other kinds of interviews and whatever else if the opportunity is presented to him.
