Froch says that his legacy is greater than Clazaghe and that Joe only has 2/3 stand out names on his resume where as he has 10 or 12.

He also says he has an answer for people who say he lost to Kessler and Joe beat him but he doesn't want to say as he will sound bitter.

He says that you will never silence critics he goes on to say Mayweather still gets stick and he is the pound for pound best.

He says he has fought at the better level and he has improved

    What do you think ESB?

Im not saying I agree or disagree but how many stand out names do you think Calzaghe has out of interest?

    Add Taylor to that list.

Then you got Magee who is a tier below, along with unproven Dirrell who seems to have talent.

I think Froch has fought the superior opposition.

Froch has got the depth in terms of numbers of fighters, although Calzaghe beating a prime Kessler and B-Hop surpasses anything Froch has done - if it wasn't for Bute, I'd throw Eubank in there too.

Plus when we add in that Calzaghe was undefeated, undisputed champ, lineal two weight world champion, I prefer Calzaghe's. If Carl, beats Kessler and Ward then I might change my mind.

Can't make this comparison really, but Joe handles everyone on Froch's resume with ease (bar Ward) and Froch loses several fights of Joe's.

Absolute rubbish. Close fight, could have gone either way.

I don't buy the age factor there. BHop was fighting and beating top guys before and after he fought JC.

Both were past their prime and that was a legitimate win. BHop was ring belt holder and rated p4p top 10.

Calzaghe was the ring champion at LHW, not the lineal champion. It was a paper title he held at the time as it was not representing true lineage.

Yeah, and he lost to the only great names on that list.
He even lost to a defeated version of the fighter Joe beat
handily. Carl's always been envious of Joe.

    "Stand out names"

    Calzaghe 6:
    Chris Eubank
    Robin Reid
    Jeff Lacy
    Mikkel Kessler
    Bernard Hopkins
    Roy Jones Jr.

    Froch 8:
    Robin Reid
    Jean Pascal
    Jermain Taylor
    Mikkel Kessler X2
    Arthur Abraham
    Glen Johnson
    Andre Ward
    Lucian Bute

Froch has the bigger names and several of those at their prime. Calzaghe has some big and perhaps the biggest names but far past their prime. Bika, Veit, Dirrell, and Magee are stretches I've left off.

    Calzaghe > Froch
