I want Cotto to win because I think negotiations woul be smoother, because with the **** Roach's been tlkin it appears as if he actually thinks Pac is better than he is.

Besides, Cotto is what some call a real WW so it would put an end to the theory that Floyd doesnt want to face real WW's

I hear what your saying but the Mayweather V Pac dream match was to settle who truly is the p4p number 1 in the world.

However if Pac beats Cotto who is arguably the best Welterweight out there. Remember he beat Mosley, Quintana and he beat Clottey that's 3 top welterweights in the record books like it or not. His only loss was to a man who may have had loaded gloves, who knows?

But if Pac beats him Pac is defo in the top 3 welterweights in the division.

Your theroy is jacked. Pac barely got by JMM twice. Floyd destoys JMM. Logic would have Floyd destoying Pac as well even tho Pac beat JMM. It's all about styles make fights, not who beat who IMO.

 

has mayweather not gone on record to say that he will have 2/3 more fights? if so, he only surely has the option out of cotto pacman (one of which he cant cos they will have lost to each other) mosely berto but knowing floyd he will probably fight tim bradley. actually floyd doesnt have all that many options to make big $$$

 

Actually I felt Shane beat Cotto.....but it was close and a good fight. I think it made Cotto better. I think there is no question that Shane is the best out of Marg, Cotto and Shane. Based on his performances.

Styles do make fights which is why he would not fare well against a style like Floyd. Pac on the other hand has the style but also the natural physical gifts that Floyd enjoys. Cotto doesn't have the talent or natrual athletic ability that both PAC and Floyd enjoy over all their opposition.

Pitting PAC vs Floyd would be the best or most competitive fight for both fighters. The only thing I will say is if Floyd fights Cotto it will be a fight with a TRUE WW which is something the boxing world has been asking for.
