    Plus

Time has finally caught up with JMM. in last 2 fights, he looks slower

JMM was more suited to the weight than Pac hence why JMM did well

You make a good point that the negotiations would be smoother with cotto than pac.

I hope pac wins though. The argument that pac is too small for PBF would be thrown out the window if he is big enough to beat Cotto. (though knowing people here, we will hear it regardless)

I just want PBF to shut up all these haters and all the noobs who jump on the pac bandwagon. I mean Pac is an exciting fighter and I like him but all these fans who make double standards and hate on PBF are really putting me off him and making me want him to loose. Maybe if PBF schools Pac theyll all jump off a building or something.

A fight with Cotto is the one I would most like to see also because I feel he deserves a fight with Floyd more than anyone else (including Shane). Cotto has fought all the top welterweights and only loss came to a guy that had loaded gloves, and in my mind he damaged Margo in that fight. That (and the fact that he just got caught trying to load his gloves) was why Mosley beat him so easily. Let's be honest, the Margo that fought Mosley was completely different from the Margo that fought Cotto. Mosley get's too much credit for that win, and the fact is Cotto beat and outboxed Mosley (in a fight where there were no stange circumstances involved) a year earlier. Cotto has fought every top WW out there except PW. Who has Mosley beaten in recent years besides the before mentioned Margo? Callazo, that's it. In my mind, when Cotto dominated and got the KO of Judah (something Floyd couldn't do), everybody out there knew he was the guy that Floyd should be fighting, not Hatton. I can't blame Floyd for fighting Hatton though, because Hatton had a much bigger following and would produce bigger PPV numbers, along with the fact that there was no chance of him losing to Hatton. In short what I'm trying to say is, in my mind, Cotto deserves a fight with Floyd more than anyone else out there, and I think he may be the guy (of the current WW's, not including PW) that has the best shot at beating him.

Cotto is not the same fighter since Margo.. Floyd is v clever; the winner of Cotto v Pac may well be a battered fighter and easy pickings.

Then I see Floyd fighting Berto and then an old Mosley before retiring.

Cotto beat Mosley, Mosley beat Margarito(without plaster), Margo stopped Cotto (with plaster).

I predicted a Mosley win, Margo was made for Mosley really.

But I do get what you are trying to say.

a fight between floyd and pac is pointless because it will just like the fight with marquez the only difference is that pac will get hit more and eventually get koed because he is less skilled than marquez.

He definitely has a chance, a better chance than Pac in my mind. If I were betting on Floyd/Cotto I'd bet on Floyd but I wouldn't be shocked if Cotto beat him. I would be extremely shocked if Pac beat Floyd though.

personally I want Cotto to win so Mayweather can end his career fighting Cotto and Mosley...the top two true welterweights...Pacqiao and Marquez are top 3 p4p but fights with Cotto or Mosley would legitimize Mayweather at 147 to his bashers and detractors. If Mayweather defeats Manny they'd complain and ***** like they always do....Like Mayweather didnt start at 130:patsch

It would be a lot different than the Marquez fight. It would be more like the Judah fight IMO. Pac has successfully grown into the JWW/WW weight and developed power on par with the division while still keeping the speed he had at the lower divisions. One could honestly argue that he's gotten better as he moved up to this weight. While Marquez is a more skilled fighter, he is physically limited and 144 was beyond what he was capable of developing into. Pac is a far superior physical specimen to Marquez. In a fight at 144 I would honestly give Pac the strength and speed advantage on Floyd, just like Judah had.

Most people would give Floyd a ton of credit if he beat Pac. There will always be critics who are never satisfied, you shouldn't worry about them. I believe Pac is going to beat the hell out of Cotto. If that happens, the call for a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight will be huge.

Cotto isnt dynamic enough to beat Manny Imo even though he has the ability to fight going backwards and counterpuch...I see it beeing a war but Cotto doesnt deal to well with speed. I would have rather seen Manny fight Mosley.
