I picked GGG to destroy Danny, not win by decision I picked AJ to win by ko in the 7th I picked Kell to stop Errol late or win a decision That makes me 2-1 in those fights but I got the circumstances somewhat incorrect lol.
Yeah I was back and forth on that on for a while thinking SD or MD for Melindo, KO1 never even crossed my mind.
I had Garcia beating Thurman and Dirrell beating DeGale, those are probably the only 2 fights I got wrong in recent memory. I had the Garcia/Thurman fight a draw and DeGale/Dirrell for DeGale by about a point. Could of gone either way though.
Had Thurman and Degale beating Garcia and Dirrell.... although countered by my Wlad and Brook over Joshua and Spence. Oh well.... my Smith Jr. KO over Fonfara, Berchelt over Vargas and Sor Rungvisai over Gonzalez picks trumps every pick anyone has made on this site in recent memory.
Who you picking now, Thurman or Spence? I thought Spence would demolish Thurman but now i am thinking that Thurman can outbox him.
I was on the fence before last night, but now I'm solidly leaning Thurman UD but to be safe I'd go with SD, it will be a Haymon card after all.
Sor Rungvisai over Gonzalez? That took balls. I can see why you would make it but still. Reminds me of when i picked Soliman over Sturm.
I was even going to write an article about how and why I thought Sor Rungvisai would beat Roman, but I didn't feel like the shitstorm beatdown I'd get for simply bringing it up, that and most of the site doesn't care enough about Flyweights to even read it, that being said, I passionately argued my case for Sor Rungvisai on Kirk's for weeks.
I picked... Trout over Rodriguez Trout over Cotto Trout over Lara Charlo over Trout (initially had Trout but switched to Charlo at the last minute fearing robbery) And IMO was robbed. So I'm 3-1 in Trout matches.
Somewhere in the back of my head I feared a possible UD win for Jacobs, if it went the distance, but I quickly erased those silly doubts, I couldn't fathom it going to the cards, so I sensibly went with GGG KO.
I'm 3-0 on those. Though admittedly I got Wlad and GGG fights a bit wrong, I thought AN would annihilate Wlad and GGG would destroy Jacobs. Both fights turned out to be quite competitive.
