Damn It! Who else is disappointed about the Mikey Garcia news?

    So he skips 2 weight classes for what now?

    Was anyone else excited about the prospect of Lomo vs Garcia? By jumping up 2 divisions, he most likely just killed any chance of that fight happening any time soon.

    At the very least he could have moved up to Lightweight and to take on Crawford, Gamboa, Figueroa, and what have you. Now I know most of these fights are still very possible, whether any of these fighters move up, or he moves back down after he's done doing whatever he's doing at 140, but still...

    The Lomo fight in particular I'm pissed about... And I was also looking forward to (and I know this was a long shot, but...) a Rigondeaux vs Garcia fight, assuming Rigo ever wanted to move up... Now that fight is pretty much dead too

    I mean, what really can be expected of an unlikely Garcia vs Garcia match? Danny's just too big...

    Matthysse vs Garcia would be a good contrast of skill vs power, but FML, Mattysse is too big too.

    And would anybody really be excited about a Garcia vs Pastol, or Peterson match?

    With maybe the exception of Mikey vs Broner, there's really no interesting fight in the division

    Why did he do this?

    As a big Mikey Garcia fan, I have to say that I hate this decision to move up 2 whole weight classes

    Not a good decision by Garcia. His chin is suspect and those guys at 140 can punch.

    He did it because arum promised him the pac fight. If he manages to beat pac he becomes an instant star.

    problem is i would favour even a 40 year old pac over mickey pac is on anther level

    Mikey is one of the copming forces in boxing.

    If he can naturally grow into the weight, I think he could beat Pac.

    Pac hasnt fought anyone like Mikey in a long time. It just depends if 140 is a step too far for him.

    Pac is getting older

    i have bradley beatig mikey easy at 140 and pac just made bradley look like nothing their is levels to this my friend
