Lucas came straight forward... Herrera outboxed him. Lucas hits harder than Herrera but that alone doesn't mean that because Herrera schooled bowl cut danny that Lucas should have beaten him.

Matthysse just got to hyped but all of you guys. Theres a reason that Judan and Devon did good against him. garcia is a better boxer period. and when Matthysse's power didnt affect him then it was over

Herrera is a completely different fighter than Matthysse. Garcia just had a harder time with Herrera's style.

Garcia would likely beat Matthysse again.

 

Lucas got fouled to death in their fight. Herrera did not.

Matthysse is overrated but so is Danny. Id favour Matthysse in the rematch tho, he won most of the rounds before the eye swelled up and thats unlikely to happen again

Garcia relies too much on his chin and power, his boxing skills are lacking

 

Well maybe it was an off night or maybe the accumulation of low blows, holding, bull**** calls by the ref I.e the knockdown & when Garcias mouthpiece got punched out & thr fact he was fighting with 1 eye after round 6 played a part?

 

the difference is garcia was warned for low shots early in the herrera fight TWICE. he was warned once in the matthysse fight and NEVER again until the last round deduction. He was allowed to wing on those nuts to his hearts content with Matthysse.

 

Yeah he didn't look like himself. He probably needs to move up in weight or he took danny lightly. Or he could've been distracted because it was his home coming fight. Oh wait those are Danny's excuses lol

 

Matthysse didn't have an off night. Nobody told Danny that Herrera would kick his ass every day, all day.
