if pac cant fight mayweather or martinez, then i dont care who he wants to fight and why. it just isnt a must watch for me. i would still buy a jmm fight, only to see a legend meet his match.

I disagree. Everyone who made themselves believe that they know boxing predicted that all those you mentioned will expose and destroy Pac. Pac is so good he made those guys you mentioned easy to beat.

LOL I can't wait for the day *****s will say Pac cherrypicked and beat an old and washed up Floyd. Those same mother****ers will then demand Pac to fight Martinez at 160 no catchweights and demand Pac enter the super 6 tournament with Froch.. etc.

3 choices - JMM, Mosley and Berto (WTF did this guy do anyway to be in the mix?)

Not much choice, not exactly like picking the creme de la creme. Anyone can be criticized.

Let us just hope it is a stay-busy fight and a pocket-enhancing fight while waiting for Gayweather to finally find his URGE.

I picked Pac to beat each one including Oscar. I was one of the only ones at Maxboxing.com to say I think it was a bad move in taking that fight because Manny is monster and Oscar was **** in the Forbes fight.

You are right that his standard is set so high, but as the new face of boxing he should be.. Sure Marg was big and strong, and he really did come to fight... But he was very undeserving of that fight...

If he didn't just fight Marg I'd be fine with this fight, but he is now facing two men, back to back who were on cold streaks heading into the fight... He needs to face a live body who has some kind of steam behind him..

Pacs recent opponents leave alot to be desired... (Marg and Mosley)

You are right in so many things but you can't blame pac for the opponents that get fed to him. Who else is out there for Pac beside Floyd?

Pac fighting Martinez is the most dangerous as Martinez is a natural middleweight and has speed and power while Pac didn't even weigh in as a jr. middleweight during the fight against Margarito.

Some people here say Money Mayweather is a good business man. Arum is much much better at that game. No way he would let pac fight Martinez when everybody wants to see Pac vs Floyd. No way would arum let his money maker get torn up before going up against Floyd. It would ruin Arum's chances of making the biggest money in boxing.

Sometimes we have to think that Boxing is also a business. I don't even blame floyd for picking his opponents. People don't see that Pac really wants to fight everybody that gets pitted against him but it also comes with a certain price. Pac is not a contender anymore. He doesn't have to fight everybody that calls him out. He's on top of the food chain and he can and will choose which opponent to pic. This also applies to Floyd. He doesn't have to fight Pac and because of this, people are already losing interest in this fight.

Pacman was in pain with that wicked body shot from Margo days after the fight show that huge weight difference should not be taken lightly. However, even that failed to put Pacman down.

And then they want Pacman face Martinez who can't go down below 154lbs. claiming the guy is 5'10".

Pacman just happens to have a monster stamina coupled with fast footwork and a wicked power combos otherwise he'll be dead at WW.

apparently, we are all diehard boxing fans here. I guess we can say we are more than just casual boxing fans as we participate in discussions here while casual fans are just content to see pac fight. The casual fans will watch this fight and there's a lot more casual fans than hardcore boxing fans here.
