What is'nt being talked about here is that Pacquiao actually takes home a bigger % of the fight purse if he'd have picked to fight Marquez......

Mosley is getting a guarantee of 5 million, Marquez' guarantee would have been 3.8 million......the other 1.2 million was supposed to be a step aside for to GBP to let Arum handle the promotion all by himself.

......the promoters fee is supposed to come out of Arum's cut, not Pacquiao's, as afterall its part of the promotion's expense to pay step aside money.

This means that when Pacquiao made his choice of who to fight, it was'nt about money.

You can draw your own conclusions, but I say Pacquiao fears the pisster!:yep

 

the thing I can find in this fight is at least Manny is consistent when he says that who he fights is up to his promoter...but damn.

In other words, Pacquiao has earned the right to pull a Floyd move. How many great fights has he given us? There's no body out there who can beat him, except the guy who's too scared to fight him.

I'm not as down as most with this fight even though there's better comp out there PAC could be facing. Mosley is the 5th ranked WW, Cotto 4th (already beaten), Berto 3rd (I'd rather see this) and Mayweather 2nd (not happening right now).
Now outside of those we have the Bradley-Alexander winner (they'll be facing Khan), or Martinez (Pacs not fighting at 154, I'm certain the Margo fight is a one off to add the belt).

Seriously it's about time fans just accepted that this fight isn't as bad as most believe even if we'd prefer he fought someone else.

 

Manny takes a glorified tune up and *****s are living it up. Meanwhile Floyd has made a career of fighting old timers, and small guys who brandish big names but its all good.

Would have been my options. Of the 3 options Bob presented, it wasnt the worst. The worst would be beating up on a LW scared to fight JWW/WW unless he's cashing out.

 

Yes & exactly how many pointless fights are gonna take place before `the big one`.... this fight either wont happen or will happen when 1 or both are past their best, both men are 34 & 32 yrs old, this fight should have been done a year ago.... pathetic bull**** & Im done with both frauds until they face each other & stop treating the fans like utter pish.
