What were the idiots expecting?, Mayweather has always been known to be a defensive fighter anyway. If you don't like that style, don't buy tickets.

 

Difference here is, Alvarez was fighting a live opponent. I love Guerrero but he's just inexperienced for someone like Mayweather.

Canelo/Trout was not exactly a barnburner but anyone with half a sense could tell you it was "three times" more aesthetically pleasing than Floyd/Guerrero.

 

Good to see they saw the mismatch it was! Horrendous matchmaking! Floyd deserves the boo's for charging to see that glorified sparring session!

 

A fight between Sr and Ruben would be better than the garbage they showed last night, Showtime was so eager to steal Mayweather from HBO that they didnt think straight giving a known cherrypicker a six fight contract for that kind of money instead of going on a fight by fight deal, They gave all the power to Mayweather and now they are held hostage's to Mayweather's decisions if he decides to keep on fighting scrubs which is the most likely scenario they cant do **** about it. Haymon is really worth whatever they(the fighters) pay him.

 

All I saw was Floyd schooling Guerrero on the art of boxing...

I enjoyed it.. watching Mayweather throw stupidly fast right hands then after the 8th (hurting his hand) throw some sweet ass right and left hooks.

There's that, but there's a reason Floyd played the heel for so long. Those guys are a big part of his viewership. If he keep fighting guys Guerrero, those guys are gonna tune out. Maybe not bad news for him, he's got his guarantees, but bad news for Showtime

 

I have NEVER paid a penny to watch Mayweather prance around like a ballet dancer on crack. I saw it after & in my opinion they just went through the motions. No one exerted themselves they just did enough to make it look semi-legitimate. People ***** & complain about Bernard Hopkins grabbing & holding but he is a choirboy compared to Mayweather. All Floyd did was run like a girl But whenever Guererro got close he clung on like a limpet. I do not blame anyone who was there & PAID to watch this unadulterated bull****, from walking out. Guererro fought like he was just there to collect a check

The Majority of you here who are upset with Yahoos writing about the fans walking out on a Boring fight labeling the writers as haters well go look at the polls for Guerrero vs Berto 99% of you said Guerrero had no chance yet the writers for Yahoo calling it like it is are obviously just haters right I mean they couldnt be speaking the truth could they?:roll:
You guys knew then before the Berto fight that Guerrero was grade A bum, yet the moment he signs to face Floyd he is legit, what is it that Bertos done that validates him as a top welter?
