Face off w/ Kellerman just ended with the two facing off
being Mike Alvarado and Ruslan Providnikov. Good session
with both guys respectful and humble, but mentally prepared
for the task at hand. The one who looked the most calm
and ready for a 'to the death' battle was the siberian.
Mike alvarado is going to have to fight like he did in the
2nd rios fight or he will get KO'd. Ruslan indicating that titles
and money mean less than being a people's champ. He fights
for his people. Sounds like some mexican sh-t coming from a
russian. If you don't like Ruslan Providnikov, you don't like
    boxing.

How can anyone NOT respect him? Real recognize real and he gave Tim the ultimate respect.

Right? That admission started off the session right. Ruslan might
end up being the russian Gatti of this decade. I think the guy will
KO mike and then maybe face the winner of Bradley/Marquez.

Prov a real fan friendly fighter, but he's way too limited. Has very good power loads up alittle too long and gasses out. Mike is going to use him for target practice and has underrated power. Bad style for Prov, but Prov-Rios?! Now THAT is a fight.

If Provo learns to pace himself better and adds some diversity to his punch selection, I can honestly see him stopping Alvarado in the first three rounds, as crazy as that sounds.
